The research was carried out in four villages: Sitiung, Siguntur, Gunung medan and Sungai Duo. In each village there was one sampling area and samplings were taken five times with interval 1 week. The study was conducted from Juli until September 2018. The survey was conducted in cocoa plantations in which the plants were more than four years old and had produced fruits. The parameters observed were the percentage of plants and fruits attacked, intensity of attacks and yield loss. The highest percentage of CPB attack was in the village of Siguntur with the percentage of plant attack was 65.80%, the percentage of fruit attacked was 18.29%, intensity of attack was 76% and yield loss was 7.61% while the lowest percentage of attack was in the village of Gunung Medan with the percentage of plant attack was 34.11%, the percentage of fruit attacked was 4.64%, intensity of attack was 15.91 % and yield loss 1.57%.
