Abstract

The objective of this study is to examine the influence of environmental disclosure on corporate value and the influence of environmental disclosure on corporate value with profitability as the moderating variable. The sample of this research consists of 48 observations from mining company sector which listed in Indonesia Stock Exchange (IDX) from 2011 to 2013. This study uses multiple regression analysis and moderated regression analysis to analyze hypothesis in this research. The result of this study shows that the influence of environmental disclosure has negative influence towards company value. Profitability as the moderating variable in relationship between environmental disclosure and company value also has negative influence.
