Judul Skripsi: Motif Orang Tua Memilih Imunisasi Berbayar Studi Terhadap Imunisasi Anak di RSIA CICIK . Pembimbing I: Zuldesni, S.Sos, MA dan Pembimbing II: Drs. Yulkardi, M.Si. 83 halaman. Imunisasi merupakan cara yang terbukti dapat mengendalikan dan menghilangkan penyakit menular yang mengancam jiwa dan diperkirakan dapat mencegah antara dua hingga tiga juta kematian setiap tahun. Salah satu upaya preventif yang dilakukan oleh pemerintah dibidang kesehatan untuk mengurangi kematian bayi adalah mengalakkan program Pekan Imunisasi Nasional (PIN). Kegiatan ini dapat diakses secara mudah diberbagai tempat pelayanan yang telah disediakan pemerintah secara gratis, namun sayangnya masih banyak dari masyarakat yang kurang mempercayai keberadaan puskesmas atau posyandu sebagai tempat pelayanan imunisasi anak dan lebih memilih pelayanan imunisasi yang berbayar. Oleh karena itu yang menjadi pertanyaan dalam penelitian ini adalah apa motif orang tua memilih imunisasi berbayar. Penelitian ini menggunakan metode penelitian kualitatif dengan tipe pendekatan deskriptif. Teknik pengumpulan data adalah observasi dan wawancara mendalam. Analisis data menggunakan metode deskriptif yaitu data yang diperoleh di lapangan disusun secara sistematis dan disajikan secara deskriptif sehingga dapat memberikan gambaran tentang permasalahan yang ada. Penelitian ini menggunakan teori motif yang dikemungkakan oleh Alfred Schuzt. Gambaran yang akan dideskripsikan adalah mendeskripsikan pengetahuan orang tua memilih imunisasi berbayar serta because motive dan in order to motive orang tua memilih imunisasi berbayar. Immunization is a proven way to control and eliminate life-threatening infectious diseases and is estimated to prevent between two and three million deaths each year. One of the preventive efforts undertaken by the government in the field of health to reduce infant mortality is to initiate the National Immunization Week (PIN) program. This activity can be accessed easily in various places of service provided the goverment for free, but unfortunately there are still many people who are less trust the existence of the public health center or posyandu as a place of child immunization services and prefer a paid immunization service. Therefore, it is the question in this study is what motive parents choose paid immunization. This research uses qualitative research method with descriptive type approach. Data collection techniques are observations and in-depth interviews. Data analysis using descriptive method that is data obtained in the field arranged systematically and presented descriptively so as to give description about existing problem. This study uses the motive theory expressed by Alfred Schuzt.
