Abstract
This study aims to determine the effectiveness and contribution levies reception area of Bukittinggi . This research is quantitative descriptive study . methods of analysis to perform calculations on data that is proving a problem , so the quantitative descriptive method is a method of research that explains the data through the figures obtained from the Department of Revenue , Financial Management , and Asset Bukittinggi.The results showed that the effectiveness of the collection of levies Local Taxes in the City of London can be quite effective and the contribution of each type levies to total revenues levies in the City of London that gives the largest contribution coming from service levies businesses while contributing reception lowest government Bukittinggi derived from Specific Licensing levy .
