Abstract

Penggerek buah kakao (Conopomorpha cramerella Sn.) adalah hama utama pada tanaman kakao. Pestisida nabati campuran ekstrak Tephrosia vogelii dan Piper aduncum formulasi 10 WP serta perangkap air tapai merupakan salah satu alternatif pengendalian hama dengan prinsip pengendalian hama terpadu. Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk mempelajari efektivitas aplikasi formulasi pestisida nabati 10 WP dan perangkap air tapai untuk pengendalian PBK pada tanaman kakao di lapangan. Penelitian ini dilakukan di sentra perkebunan kakao rakyat di Desa Santur, Dusun Padang Malintang, Kecamatan Barangin, Kota Sawahlunto. Penelitian ini menggunakan Rancangan Acak Kelompok (RAK) dengan 4 perlakuan dan 3 ulangan. Perlakuan yang diaplikasikan yaitu kontrol, pestisida nabati formulasi campuran ekstrak Tephrosia vogelii dan Piper aduncum 10 WP, perangkap air tapai, serta kombinasi pestisida nabati dan perangkap air tapai. Hal-hal yang diamati adalah; kondisi pertanaman, persentase tanaman terserang, persentase buah terserang, intensitas serangan dan jumlah serangga lain yang terperangkap. Data yang diperoleh kemudian dianalisis dengan Uji F. Hasil penelitian menunjukkan bahwa antar perlakuan memperlihatkan hasil yang berbeda tidak nyata. Penggunaan perangkap air tapai untuk pengendalian PBK tidak efektif karena tidak terdapat PBK yang terperangkap dan cenderung memerangkap serangga dari ordo Coleoptera, Diptera, dan Lepidoptera. Kata kunci: Conopomorpha cramerella, perangkap air tapai, Piper aduncum, pestisida nabati, Tephrosia vogelii. Cacao pod borer (Conopomorpha cramerella Sn.) is one of a major pest in cacao cultivation. Nabatical pesticide of Tephrosia vogelii with Piper aduncum 10WP mixed extracts and cassava fermented trap was known as an alternative pest control activity based on integrated pest management principle. The purpose of this research is to determine the efectivity of nabatical pesticide 10WP and cassava fermented traps aplication to control cacao pod borer in the field. This research has been held in Desa Santur, Dusun Padang Malintang, Kecamatan Barangin, Sawahlunto City. This research used a randomized block design consist of four treatments and three replications. The treatments are; control, nabatical pesticide formulation of Tephrosia vogelii and Piper aduncum 10WP mixed extracts, cassava fermented trap, also combination of nabatical pesticide and cassava fermented traps. Observation variables included cocoa plant condition, incidence, severity and total of insects were traped in cassava fermented trap. Data was analyzed with F test. The result showed that the treatments did not affect to control cacao pod borer. The use of cassava fermented trap was not effective to control cacao pod borer because there are no cacao pod borer were traped and mostly Coleoptera, Diptera, and Lepidoptera were traped.
