Abstract

This research aims to describe the development of Forum Agrowisata Nagari Madani (FAWNM) and the utilization of public facilities and infrastructure on the management of Agro-tourism Nagari Madani (ANM) in Matur Subdistrict. Data Source of primary data this research is the manager of FAWNM, Village Trustee and the home stay owner who were selected deliberately, farming communities and visitors were taken by Accidental Sampling. The data were analyzed using descriptive qualitative to describe the study area, the profile of FAWNM, the management of Agro-tourism and the utilization of facilities and infrastructure by FAWNM as well as the allocation of potential resources and income from touris me and secondary data from the study. The results showed that FAWNM was foun in 2009 as a new form of youth organizations tourism activities. In managing and running Agro-tourism in Matur subdistrict, FAWNM was is close cooperation with local governments by involving the community. The tourism attraction managed by FAWNM inclide natural tourism, cultural, adventure, as well as culinary tourism. Agro-tourism is also supported by developing facilities and infrastructure for tourists from the principal and complementary means to attract tourists. The study conclude that Forum Agrowisata Nagari Madani, a new form of the Youth Organizations Tourism Awareness, has participated well in managing ANM and the facilities exist in village community has been used appropriately by FAWNM to manage the ANM in Matur subdistrict. The study suggest that in order to increase the participation of people in Matur subdistrict on management of ANM and for FAWNM to improve the management of facilities and infrastructures which represents the advantage of ANM.
