Abstract

ABSTRACT This study aims to determine the improvement of the financial capability of Padang City in 2013-2015 by using regional financial ratios. Data obtained from the Office of Financial Management and Asset of Padang City. Data collection using documentation method. Data analysis techniques use the formula: Ratio of Regional Financial Independence, PAD Effectiveness Ratio, Harmony Ratio, Growth Ratio. The result of the analysis shows that the financial independence of Kota Padang has a good trend, but the level is still low and belong to Instruktif category. The effectiveness ratio shows that the effectiveness of PAD Padang is still not good. The ratio of harmony shows that the Government of Padang City allocates most of its expenditure for indirect expenditure. Ratio of revenue growth, PAD, Indirect expenditure, and direct expenditure always increase from year to year.
