Abstract
Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk mendapatkan informasi tipe perkecambahan benih jengkol dan tahapan-tahapan yang terjadi pada perkecambahan benih jengkol. Penelitian ini menggunakan metode deskriptif. Hasil penelitian menunjukkan tipe perkecambahan benih jengkol yaitu hipogeal. Tahapan-tahapan perkecambahan jengkol bareh dan jengkol kabau yaitu: (a) merekahnya benih, (b) munculnya radikula, (c) melepasnya seedcoat, (d) munculnya epikotil, (e) munculnya daun pertama, (f) membukanya daun pertama, (g) daun berwarna merah pekat, (h) daun berwarna coklat pekat, (i) daun berwarna coklat, (j) daun berwarna coklat muda, (k) daun berwarna hijau kecoklatan, (l) daun berwarna hijau, (m) bibit.
