Abstract
ABSTRAK Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk memahami bagaimana Indonesia mengunakan Multi Track Diplomacy sebagai upaya untuk melindungi tenaga kerja wanita Indonesia yang bekerja di negara-negara Asia Tenggara, melalui forum ASEAN Ministerial Meeting on Women. Hasilnya adalah Indonesia berhasil mengajak TKW yang pulang ke Indonesia untuk tidak kembali bekerja di luar negeri melalui berbagai program yang diimplementasikan oleh AMMW. Tingginya angka penyiksaan terhadap TKW di Indonesia yang berada di negara-negara Asia Tenggara, menjadi motivasi bagi Kementerian Pemberdayaan Perempuan dan Perlindungan Anak untuk mengurangi TKI pergi ke luar negeri. AMMW sejalan dengan upaya tersebut karena memiliki banyak program yang mendukung wanita dalam hal ekonomi dan lingkungan. Kata kunci : AMMW, Kementerian Pemberdayaan dan Perlindungan Anak, Multi Track Diplomacy, Tenaga Kerja Wanita ABSTRACT This reseach is conducted for understanding how Indonesia using Multi Track Diplomacy as effort to protect Indonesia citizen that worked in various South East Countries as worker, especially domestic worker, through ASEAN Ministerial Meeting on Women. The result of this research is Indonesia succesfully discourage ex-domestic worker that already worked abroad in ASEAN for going back, through various program that came through AMMW. High number of mistreament that directed to Indonesian domestic worker in various South East Asia countries, such as Malaysia and Singapore, become motivation for Indonesia’s Ministry of Women Affair to enact incentive so there would be less Indonesian women going abroad as domestic worker.
