Abstract

This paper discusses the need of Information Technology Governance, due to the increased role of Information Technology that should be directly proportional to the investments. This study measures the IT governance maturity level of RSI Ibnu Sina Padang using COBIT 4.1 to then make recommendations in order to improve the IT governance practices. This is qualitative descriptive with case study approach. In collecting data, this research used document analysis, interview and observation methods to be the sources of assessing the existing processes guided by COBIT 4.1 Framework as it is recommended by PERMENKES No. 82 Tahun 2013 about SIMRS. Based on the result of maturity level measurements, RSI Ibnu Sina Padang have 28 IT processes and 110 detailed control objectives and is in level 2.8 (Repeatable but Intuitive). This means the IT governance implementation in RSI Ibnu Sina Padang has not achieved the best practice yet.
