Abstract

This research is aimed to analyze the accounting information system implication on revenue cycle in inpatient unit of hospital, and its internal control. The object of this study is inpatient unit of RSI Ibnu Sina Padang. This study is a descriptive qualitative research with case study approach. The data collection method through library and field research which are primary (interview and observation) and secondary (documents) data. The result of this study found that inpatient unit of RSI Ibnu Sina Padang has implements a good accounting information system and have adequate internal control. But there are some weaknesses appear, such as weakness in procedure in recording the transaction, difference between written procedure with the implemented procedure, and some weaknesses in documentations.
