Abstract

Tujuan Kadar kolesterol tinggi disebabkan oleh beberapa faktor diantaranya kebiasaan makan tidak sehat, rokok, stress tinggi dan aktivitas fisik kurang. Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk mengetahui faktor-faktor yang berhubungan dengan kadar kolesterol darah pegawai di Kantor Wilayah Kementerian Agama Provinsi Sumatera Barat tahun 2017. Metode Penelitian ini menggunakan desain cross sectional study. Populasi seluruh pegawai sedangkan sampel 145 orang diambil secara simple random sampling. Data primer diambil dengan wawancara dan pengukuran sedangkan data sekunder dari bagian kepegawaian. Analisis data menggunakan chi square dan regresi logistik ganda. Hasil Responden yang memiliki kadar kolesterol tinggi (64,8%), mengalami obesitas (26,2%), asupan kolesterol tinggi (53,8%), asupan lemak jenuh tinggi (29,0%), asupan lemak tidak jenuh rendah (71,7%), asupan serat rendah (78,6%), memiliki kebiasaan merokok (44,8%), mengalami stress tingkat sedang (4,8%) dan ringan (13,1%), memiliki aktivitas fisik yang ringan (17,9 %) maupun berat (7,8%). Ada hubungan yang bermakna antara status gizi, asupan kolesterol, asupan lemak jenuh, asupan serat, merokok dan tingkat stress dengan kadar kolesterol darah serta tidak terdapat hubungan yang bermakna antara asupan lemak tidak jenuh dan aktivitas fisik dengan kadar kolesterol darah. Faktor yang paling dominan mempengaruhi kadar kolesterol darah responden yaitu status gizi. Kesimpulan Asupan kolesterol dan lemak jenuh yang tinggi, asupan serat yang rendah, status gizi lebih, kebiasaan merokok dan stress berhubungan dengan tingginya kadar kolestrol darah. Responden disarankan untuk menjaga status gizi normal dengan IMT 18,5-25,0 kg/m² dan membatasi konsumsi makanan dengan jenis kolesterol berbahaya dan pantangan seperti jeroan, kerang dan cumi-cumi. This research aims to the factors that are associated with employees blood cholesterol levels in the regional offices of the Ministry of Religion of West Sumatra in 2017. Method This research usedcross sectional study design as many 145 employees taken as a simple random sampling. Primary data obtainedwith interviews and measurements while secondary data obtained from the staffing section. Data analysis used chi square and multiple logistic regression. Results Respondents who have high cholesterol levels (64,8%), obesity (26,2%), high cholesterol intake (53,8%), high saturated fat intake (29,0%), low unsaturated fats intake (71,7%), low fiber intake (78,6%), smoking (44,8%), Moderate (4,8%) and low stress levels (13,1%), low (17,9%) and high physical activity (7,8%). There are significant relationship between nutritional status, cholesterol intake, saturated fat intake,fiber intake, smoking and stress levels with the blood cholesterol levels There are no relationship between unsaturated intake and physical activity with the blood cholesterol levels . Conclusion High cholesterol and saturated fats intake, low fiber intake, obesity, smoking and stress are associated with high blood levels of cholesterol. Respondents are advised to keep the nutrition status of normal BMI 18,5-25,0 kg/m² and limiting the consumption of food to the type of dangerous choleserol and neer eat such as offal, clams and squid.
