Abstract

Penelitian tentang efek sisa bahan humat dari Subbituminus dan pemberian pupuk P bertujuan untuk mengetahu efek sisa bahan humat dari Subbituminus masih mampu mempertahankan kadar hara P dan produksi tanaman jagung pada panen ke-2 pada Oxisol. Penelitian ini telah dilaksanakan di Padang Siantah pada bulan Januari - Mei 2014 yang menggunakan tanah bekas penanaman jagung yang telah diberi perlakuan bahan humat dari ekstrak batubara muda (Subbituminus) dan pupuk P sebagai berikut : A= 400 ppm bahan humat (0,8 ton/ha)+ pupuk TSP 75% R (180 kg/ha), B= 400 ppm bahan humat (0,8 ton/ha) + pupuk TSP 100% R (240 kg/ha), C=800 ppm bahan humat (1,6 ton/ha) + pupuk TSP 75% R (180 kg/ha), D=800 ppm bahan humat (1,6 ton/ha)+ pupuk TSP 100% R (240 kg/ha), E=Tradisi petani setempat (pemberian pupuk kandang ternak ayam 10 ton/ha). Penelitian berupa percobaan lapangan menggunakan Rancangan Acak Kelompok (RAK) dengan 5 perlakuan dan 3 kelompok. Adapun hasil penelitian menunjukkan bahwa efek sisa bahan humat dan pupuk P pada perlakuan 400 ppm + 100% R mampu meningkatkan pH tanah, KTK, C-organik dan P tersedia masing-masing sebesar 0.26, 3.38 me/100 g, 0.27%, 16.17 ppm serta mengurangi kadar Al dan Fe sebesar 0.23 me/100 g dan 5.74 ppm dibandingkan dengan tradisi petani serta meningkatkan produksi dan kualitas biji pada panen ke-2 sebesar 6.25 ton/ha dan 30.27 g. PRODUCTION AT SECOND CROPPING SEASONS IN OXISOL ABSTRACT Research on the residual effects of humic materials from subbituminous and fertilizer P was aimed to determine the residual effect of humic materials from subbituminous to maintain the levels of P and production of corn at the second cropping season in Oxisol. This research was conducted in Padang Siantah in January to May 2014 using land for corn cultivation treated with humic materials from the extract lignite (subbituminous) and P fertilizers as follows: A = 400 ppm humic materials (0.8 ton / ha) + 75% R P fertilizer (180 kg / ha), B = 400 ppm humic materials (0.8 ton / ha) + 100% R P fertilizer (240 kg / ha), C = 800 ppm of humic materials (1 , 6 tons / ha) + 75% R P fertilizer (180 kg / ha), D = 800 ppm humic substance (1.6 tons / ha) + 100% R P fertilizer (240 kg / ha), E = Farmer tradition (local poultry manure 10 tons / ha). The research was arranged in randomized block design (RBD) with 5 treatments and 3 blocks. The results indicated that the residual effects of 400 ppm humic materials and 100% R P, was able to increase the soil pH, CEC, organic C and P available respectively by 0.26, 3.38 cmol/kg, 0.27%, and 16.17 ppm, as well as to reduce the levels of Al and Fe by 0.23 cmol/kg and 5.74 ppm compared to farmer tradition. It also improved production and seed quality at the second cropping season by 6.25 tons / ha and 30.27 g/100 grains. Keyword: humic material, lignite, fertilizer P, Oxisol
