Abstract
In the previous studies isolation, structure determination and cytotoxic activity test of lantanilic acid which was isolated from Lantana camara Linn leaves has been conducted. Cytotoxic activity of lantanilic acid by BSLT methods showed strong activity with LC50 value of 27.9 µg/mL. In this study, antimicrobial and antifungal activities test used by disk diffusion method shown that lantanilic acid is active againts Staphylococcus aureus bacteria and Candida albicans fungus but inactive againts Escherichia coli, Pseudomonas aeruginosa, and Staphylococcus epidermis bacterial.
