Saka (such kind of sugarcane sugar) is the main commodity of Nagari Bukik Batabuah, District Agam. The saka processing in Nagari Bukik Batabuah still used traditional tools. The main problem of the farmers was the used of mold of saka made from coconut shell. The used of coconut shell was not efficient because the finish goods were not uniform and longer processing time. Otherwise, operator working posture was not ergonomic which was highly risk of musculoskeletal disorder. Therefore, this research was conducted in order to redesign of saka molding workstation considering operator working posture and fulfilling operator’s needs. One of proposed improvement conducted was design of saka mold. The design of mold used integration of Kano and Quality Function Deployment (QFD) method. Then, RULA and REBA methods were used as indicator of musculoskeletal disorder risk while working in proposed workstation. Number of customer voices obtained were 20 respondents. The proposed saka mold could produce similar size of saka which was 200gr/piece and the scores of RULA and REBA of operator working posture were lower than before improvements therefore the risk of musculoskeletal disorder sharply decreased. Key Words: Saka Molding Workstation, Saka Mold, Ergonomic Design, Kano, QFD, RULA and REBA
