Abstract

Objective: Based on a preliminary study regarding the recording and reporting of TB control programs at the Pauh Public Health Center and Andalas Health Center, it was found that the implementation was still ineffective and there were still problems such as the data entered by SITB was out of sync with manual recording. This study aims to find out in depth the TB program recording and reporting system starting from patients, laboratories, and logistics at the Andalas Health Center and Pauh Health Center, Padang City in 2023.Method:This type of research is qualitative which was conducted in January-August 2023, with 8 informants who were selected through a purposive sampling technique. Data collection was carried out by in-depth interviews, observation, and document review.Result:Recording and reporting of TB control programs in both health centers is done manually and electronically (SITB) starting from patients, laboratories, and logistics. The difference found was that the recording at the Andalas Health Center was consistent in filling in the manual and SITB forms, in contrast to the Pauh Health Center where there were still inconsistencies that affected the quality of the data produced. In addition, the two puskesmas still found incomplete data. Recording is done every day and reporting is sent to DKK Padang in the form of monthly, quarterly and annual reports. Conclusion:The recording and reporting of the TB program at the Andalas Public Health Center and the Pauh Public Health Center are in accordance with the implementation guidelines but not optimal. It is recommended that the two puskesmas maximize reporting, especially in the laboratory and logistics.
