Abstract
This study aims to see how socioeconomic factors influence individual health status in West Nusa Tenggara. West Nusa Tenggara is the province with the highest morbidity rate in Indonesia in 2019 and 2020. This research uses a quantitative approach with a logistic regression model. The data in this study came from the 2019 National Socioeconomic Survey. In this study, the variable Individual Health Status was used as the dependent variable. The independent variables in this study are Household Expenditure, Employment Status, Education Level, Location of Residence, Age, Marital Status, and Gender. The results of this study found that socioeconomic status simultaneously affects individual health status. In this study it was found that employment status had no effect on individual health status. The surprising result was that education level had a negative and significant effect. People with low education tend to be healthier than people with higher education.
