Abstract

This study aims to determine the financial condition of Pariaman City in 2017-2021. Measurement of the financial condition of Pariaman City in this study uses Ritonga's Six-Dimensional Model (2014), namely: short-term solvency, long-term solvency, budgetary solvency, financial independence, financial flexibility, service-level solvency, and coupled with the dimensions of operational solvency (2015). This study uses data collection techniques with literature and documentation studies. A quantitative descriptive research design using secondary data as a source of data was collected from the Pariaman City Information and Documentation Management Officer (PPID) and the Central Agency on Statistics (BPS). The data analysis used is the ratio analysis of Ritonga’s Six-Dimensional Model, descriptive statistics, and financial condition index analysis. The results of this study indicate that the financial condition of Pariaman City in 2017-2021 fluctuated in the good category in 2018; the average category in 2017, 2019, and 2021; as well as the poor category in 2020. Based on this research it is hoped that Pariaman City can improve its financial condition by developing regional potential more innovatively
