Abstract

ANALISIS USAHA IQBAL CAKE DI KOTA PADANG ABSTRAK Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk mendeskripsikan profil usaha Iqbal cake di Kota Padang, yang meliputi: gambaran umum dan sejarah usaha (latar belakang usaha, sejarah pendirian usaha, lokasi usaha, izin usaha, dan struktur usaha) serta menganalisa keuntungan dan titik impas. Metode yang digunakan adalah metode deskriptif, data yang dikumpulkan terdiri dari data primer dan sekunder. Hasil penelitian menjelaskan bahwa (1) Usaha Iqbal Cake tergolong usaha industri kecil. Usaha ini memiliki izin usaha, izin kesehatan, hak paten merek, dan halal. Pada aspek operasional usaha, pemimpin usaha yang menjadi kendali terhadap kegiatan pengolahan produk (risoles, lapek labu dan kue dengan 4 varian rasa). (2) Usaha Iqbal Cake memiliki 4 tenaga kerja dalam keluarga termasuk pemilik, pemilik merangkap bagian produksi dan pemasaran dibantu dengan 1 orang karyawan, bagian produksi dilakukan 1 orang karyawan, dan bagian pengemasan dilakukan oleh 1 orang karyawan. (3) Keuntungan/laba bersih yang didapat oleh usaha Iqbal Cake selama periode Mei – Agustus 2015 adalah sebesar Rp 35.039.364,- dengan total pendapatan penjualan sebesar Rp 124.466.000,-. Persentase keuntungan yang diperoleh adalah 28% yang diterima dari pendapatan penjualan dan 72% untuk keseluruhan biaya–biaya yang dikeluarkan oleh pihak usaha. Keuntungan tertinggi yang diperoleh pihak usaha periode Mei – Agustus 2015 tersebut adalah produk kue rasa coklat dengan keuntungan yang diperoleh sebesar Rp 33.943.940,- atau sekitar 67% untuk persentase keuntungan. Break Even Point (BEP) yang didapat dari masing–masing produk yang dihasilkan oleh Iqbal cake dapat disimpulkan semua produknya (risoles, lapek labu dan kue dengan 4 varian rasa) dapat berproduksi di titik impasnya. Secara keseluruhan usaha iqbal cake dapat dikatakan bisa menjalankan usahanya tetapi belum bisa mendapatkan keuntungan yang maksimal dari setiap produk yang dihasilkan. Kata kunci: profil, keuntungan, dan break even point ANALYSIS OF IQBAL CAKE BUSINESS IN PADANG CITY ABSTRACT This study aimed to describe business profile of Iqbal Cake in Padang City which covered general description and history of business (background, history, location, license, and structure of business), and to analyzed the benefit and breakeven point as well. The method used was descriptive method where the data collected consisted of primary and secondary data. Results of the study showed that (1) Iqbal Cake was classified as small business. This business had business, medical, brands, and halal licenses. In term of business operational aspects, the owner controlled all production activities of risoles, lapek labu, and 4-flavoured cake. (2) Iqbal Cake had 4 workers from family members including the owner. In the production and marketing activities the owner was assisted by 1 worker, the production was handled by 1 worker, and packaging was handled by 1 worker. (3) Profit gained from Iqbal Cake business during period May – August 2015 amounting to IDR 35,039,364. with total net income of IDR 124,466,000. The percentage of profit obtained was 28% of the total sale and another 72% for all expenses of the business. The highest profit received during period May – August 2015 was obtained from cake with chocolate variant which amounted to IDR 33, 943,940 or 67% of the benefit percentage. The break-even point of each product produced by Iqbal Cake showed that each product was producing on their breakeven point. In general, Iqbal Cake business could running the business process but has yet to gain the maximum profit from each product produced. Keywords: profile, benefit, and breakeven point
