Judul Skripsi : Penyebab Konflik Berlanjut dari Generasi ke Generasi Di Jorong Kayu Tanduak, Nagari Aia Angek Kec X Koto, Kab Tanah Datar, Pembimbing Prof. Dr. Afrizal MA dan Pembimbing II Aziwarti S.H, M. Hum Konflik adalah pertentangan kepentingan yang di arahkan kekepentingan orang lain dan melawan pihak lain. Konfik tidak selalu berbentuk kekerasan, kekerasan dipandang sebagai cara untuk mewujudkan kepentingan atau tujuan kelompok. Konflik lumrah terjadi didalam masyarakat karena konflik tidak selalu buruk. Konflik atau permusuhan yang terjadi salah satunya terjadi di Jorong Kayu Tanduak yang melibatkan dua kampuang yaitu Kampuang Biteh dan Kampuang Kasiak. Konflik yang terjadi tersebut telah berlangsung sangat lama dan bahkan penyebab utama dari konflik ini tidak dapat diketahui. Tujuan penelitian ini adalah mengidentifikasi penyebab konflik yang terjadi berlansung secara terus-menerus dari generasi ke generasi dan mengidentifikas I seberapa terbelahnya kedua kampuang. Penelitian ini menggunakan teori resolusi konflik teori ini menjelaskan bahwa ada beberapa cara yang dapat digunakan untuk mengelola suatu konflik yang ada, dan juga menjelaskan penyebab konflik dapan dengan cepat diselasaikan dan konflik yang ada sulit untuk diselesaikan. Metode yang digunakan adalah metode penelitian kualitatif dengan pendekatan deskriptif untuk memberikan gambaran yang terperinci dari satu masalah sosial yang terjadi .Pemilihan informan dengan cara purposive sampling. Hasil penelitian ini adalah penyebab konflik berlanjut yaitu warga saling mewariskan permusuhan yang terjadi dengan cara menurunkan kepada generasi yang ada dibawah generasi mereka, adapun alasan- alas an mereka melakukan hal tersebut adalah karena warga Kasiak merasa diasingkan dan yang kedua tidak adanya keinginan berdamai karena mereka percaya damai atau tidak damai tidak akan merubah keadaan. Selanjutnya penyebab konflik ini berlanjut adalah karena tidak adanya pihak ke-3, elit jorong mengatakan bahwa beliau tidak maumempertemukan kedua kampong karna takut terjadi kekerasan dan menurut elit nagari mereka tidak melakukan penyelesaian konflik sebagai pihak ke-3 karena tidak tau tentang konflik yang terjadi di Jorong Kayu Tanduak. Hum Conflict is the conflict of interest that is directed to the benefit of others and against others. Konfik not always in the form of violence, violence is seen as a way to realize the benefit or purpose of the group. Conflict common place in society because of the conflict is not always bad. Conflict or hostility that happens one of them occurred in JorongKayuTanduak involving two kampuang namely KampuangBiteh and KampuangKasiak. The conflict that has lasted a very long time and even the main cause of this conflict is not known. The purpose of this study is to identify the cause of the conflict occurred continuously from generation to generation and to identify how the parting of the two kampuang. This study uses the theory of conflict resolution theory explains that there are several ways that can be used to manage an existing conflict, and also explain the causes of the conflict can both quickly diselasaikan and conflicts are difficult to resolve. The method used is a qualitative research method with descriptive approach to provide a detailed picture of the social problems that occur. Selection of informants by purposive sampling. The result of this research is the cause of conflict persists, namely the citizens of mutual hostility that happens to pass by lowering the existing generation of the generation below them, as for reasons they do this is because Kasiak citizens feel alienated and the second absence of the will to make peace because they believe in peace peaceful or not will not change the situation. Furthermore, the cause of this conflict continues is because of the absence of a 3rd party, elite jorong said that he did not want to bring the two villages because of fear of violence and by the elite village they did penyelesaina conflict as a 3rd party because it does not know about the conflict in jorongKayuTanduak.
