Abstract
This research investigates the relationship among location, cost/financial aid, academic program, family/peer, employee/career opportunity, promotion, facility and university reputation on student college choice decision in The Senior High School Students in Padang. The data obtained through questionnaire. The researcher had already distributed 250 questionnaires with the number of sample is 232 respondents. (Susgiyono 2009). The data analyzed by using SPSS 16.0 and SmartPLS 2.0. In this research there are nine variables, those are independent variables are location, cost/financial aid, academic program, family/peer, employee/career opportunity, promotion, facility and university reputation. The dependent variable which is college choice decision in selecting university. The findings indicated that from eight influencing factors, three of them are not significant influences to college choice decision. They are cost/financial aid, employee/career opportunity and facility. Key words: factors influencing college choice decision
