Abstract

Red onion (Allium ascolanicum)is a non-subtutution commodity for indinesian cinsumer. The red onion price very fluctuant where at the some pointincrease so high. there are some cause the occurence of price hikes among other. First, irregular distribution on port. Second is the low production caused by the state of climate is difficultto predict. climate is extreme from rain to hot and from hot to rain causing to high pestattack and deasease of plant. This causes the farming business red onion experiencing high risks as happened in Junjung Sirih District Solok Regensi. In 1999 Fail Harvesting and more than past 12 years red onion produktion relatively low. zthe purpose of research that is done is to determine the level of risk production in rainy season and dry season and to analyze factors affecting risk production red onion. Anaysis of data that refer to an analysis of risk presented by Salvator (2002) and analysis multiple linier regression reffering to factors analiysis presented By Firdaus M (2011) Tha result show that the risk of production faced farmer very high, value more 0,5. In the analysis factor be seenb in simultaneous variable in the model affect risk significanly but only partially, variable single fertilizer (X2), leaves fertilizer (D2) and pesticide (X6) affecting significanly as factor that can increase the risk production red onion
