Abstract

Bounding attachment is a form a bond of love between mother and baby are formed from a continuous interaction. Bonding attachment is very beneficial for both mother and baby to the mother bonding attachment which can stimulate the formation of oxytocin, uterine involution accelerate and control the bleeding, and can improve the baby's immune system, prevent hypoglycemia, and prevent yellow in infants. If nothing is done then the confidence, ability to build relationships are warm and intellectual growth, a baby will be disturbed psychology. Attachmnet bonding is quite difficult to do on the mother post sectio caesarea because of pain that makes mothers during breastfeeding difficulties.It happens because mothers with post sectio caesarea experience several pain that caused difficulties while performing breast feeding. The aim of this study was to determined the relationship of the pain of post sectio caesarea and the achievement of bonding attachment between mothers and babies in mathernity inpatient room RSI Ibnu Sina Padang Panjang. This study was an analytical study with cross sectional approach and using quetionnaire a the instrument. The sampling method was accidental sampling resulted 30 respondents as the sample. The data analysed with chi-square test with p value = 0,05. The resulth showed that there was a relationship of the pain of post sectio caesarea with the achievement of bonding attachment between mothers and babies in mathernity inpatient room RSI Ibnu Sina Padang Panjang, with p value = 0,011. The result showed that the majority (75,0%) of mothers with moderate level of pain have a good bonding attachment, while mothers with high level of pain (71,4%) have abad bonding attachment. This study recomended to Nurse of Ibnusina Hospital padang panjang specially in mathernal room to use this pain management to improve bonding attachment among mother and her baby.
