Abstract

and profitability in a company in manufacturing 6 or processing industry. Therefore, this research will continue Owolabi’s research, and will conduct on Indonesia Stock Exchange. Because, so far, there is no research about liquidity- profitability relationship that observe two or more industries in Indonesia, yet. Different from the previous research, population of this research are mining and food and beverages companies that listed on Indonesia Stock Exchange that published the financial report per- December 31st for period 2008 – 2012 and already audited. Similar with the previous research, this research will use current ratio as liquidity ratio and operating profit margin as profitability ratio. And also, author adding cash conversion cycle (CCC) as liquidity ratio. In order to see in what condition that CCC will affect the profitability. Also, these two sectors have different length of CCC each.
