Abstract

Region factory Indarung-2 PT.Semen Padang currently requires desperately need once system controlling the flow of bulk cement silo 2-3 lead truck is an automatic control system. It aims to facilitate troubleshooting in the process of controlling the bulk cement truck heading. By using the PLC control system in the process towards bulk cement truck, which can further facilitate the process of automatic control of material transport in the bulk cement process. Cement in the silo-2 and silo-3 transported through fluxoslide, screw conveyor, fan JPF (Pulse Jet Filters), airslide fan, fan airsluice, hopper, valve and loading device. The process begins with cement curahnya silo-2 or silo-3. Cement will be poured into fluxoslide, forwarded to the screw conveyor. Then cement airslide forwarded again to the fan, and the fan will be evacuated by JPF. Cement is sucked by the fan will be forwarded by the JPF airsluice fan toward the hopper, then cement is applied to pneumatic valve and forwarded again loading device. After a drive through some of the cement, and then cement will be poured into the truck. Then when cement truck has been in a state of full, then the process flow dismissed bulk cement, cement and ready to be marketed. This study has been successfully designed and analyzed where the process flow described in paragraph 2, the automatic control system of transportation of bulk cement silo 2-3 using the software PLC Siemens S7-300. So in the event of an error when the process towards bulk cement truck being operated, there are 4 kinds of error detection program that can be seen at Autodesk. Without having to check the terminals on the panel one by one. So it can make more efficient workers in the field and do not spend a long time. Due to the use of PLC as a software error detection tool, it only takes 1 minute to be able to know where the error in the system .
