Abstract

The purpose of this research is to analyze the influence of Environmental Performance on Environmental Disclosure and Economic Performance in Manufacturing Companies Listed in Indonesia Stock Exchange for Period 2010-2012. The independent variables in this research are Environmental Disclosure and Economic Performance. As for dependent variables is Environmental Performance. This research uses secondary data and uses purposive sampling method. The data is gotten from Indonesia Capital Market Directory (ICMD) and Indonesia Stock Exchange (IDX) website. There are 76 samples from Manufacturing companies. Analysis technique that is used is regression analysis and hypothesis analysis technique that is used is Eligibility Test Model by using T-test, and coefficient of determination (R2). This research is also using classical test assumptions which are: normality test, and autocorrelation test. From analysis and results, it shows the environmental performance has a positive significant influence on environmental disclosure in Manufactring companies listed in Indonesia Stock Exchange (IDX) with 5% level of significant. Meanwhile, that environmental performance has no significant influence on Economic Performance in manufacturing companies listed in Indonesia Stock Exchange (IDX) with 5% level of significant. The predictive ability from environmental performance towards environmental disclosure is 8.3% from the R square value of 0.083, and the other 91.7% is influenced by other factors and for the predictive ability from Environmental performance towards Economic Performance is 2.3% and the other 97.7% is influenced by other factors.
