Abstract

Menopause is a terrifying time for a woman because identic with aging. Menopause happen after 12 month consecutively not menstruation. The age of menopause really affect woman health, because a lot of degenerative disease could happen pascamenopause. A lot of factor affect menopause, such as the age at menarche and the number of parity. This study is to determined the relation of the age at menarche and the number of parity with the age of menopause in 45 – 55 years old at kuranji regency The study is analitic study using cross sectional design. This study conducted from September 2014 – February 2015. The amount of sample are 40 menopause woman selected by multistage random sampling. Data collecting by interview. Analyzing data using correlation and regression. The result of this study showed the mean age at menopause is 50,03 ± 1,847 years old. The mean age of menarche and th number of parity is 12,75 ± 1,256 years old and 3,05 ± 1,085 times. According to the result it show there is a relation of the age at menarche with the age at menopause with strong correlation (r=0,686 p=0,000) and there is a relation of the parity’s number with the age of menopause with strong correlation (r=0,607 p= 0,000) Keywords : Age at menopause, age at menarche, parity
