Abstract

These experiments were conducted in the Faculty of Agriculture Experimental Farm, Andalas University, Limau Manih, Padang, West Sumatera at a height of 200 meters above sea level, from September 2014 to January 2015. A randomized block design with two treatments and three replications was used. The first factor was the amount of organic fertilizer “NT 45” (0, 20, and 40 tonnes / ha). The second factor was the amount of urea (25, 50 and 75 kg / ha). No significant effects were observed. The organic fertilizer “NT 45” alone showed the best effect on leaf area index, dry weight of the aerial plant material 8 weeks after planting, the total number of pods, the number of pithy pods, the number of half-filled pods, as well as pod and seed dry weight. The best dose of organic fertilizer “NT 45” was 40 tons / ha. Urea showed the best effect on the dry weight of the aerial plant material at harvest, total number of pods, the number of pithy pods, the number of half-filled pods, the number of empty pods, seed dry weight per plot, and seed dry weight per ha.
