Abstract
Tujuan Penelitian Diabetes melitus (DM) merupakan kelompok penyakit metabolik dengan karakteristik hiperglikemia terjadi karena kelainan sekresi insulin, kerja insulin, atau keduanya. RISKESDAS menunjukkan peningkatan prevalensi DM di Indonesia dari 1,1% pada tahun 2007 menjadi 1,5% pada tahun 2013. Prevalensi DM di Sumatera Barat adalah 3,1%. Tujuan untuk mengetahui hubungan jumlah asupan karbohidrat dan status gizi dengan kadar glukosa darah pada pasien diabetes mellitus di poliklinik penyakit dalam RSUP Dr. M. Djamil Padang tahun 2016. Metode Penelitian bersifat analitik dengan desain crossectional. Pengambilan sampel dilakukan dengan metode purposive sampling dengan jumlah sampel 113 orang. Data yang diambil adalah data umum, antropometri, hasil pemeriksaan laboratorium dan data asupan karbohidrat. Analisis statistik menggunakan uji korelasi. Hasil Hasil penelitian didapatkan rata-rata kadar glukosa darah, asupan karbohidrat dan status gizi adalah 178,24 mg/dl, 273,75 gram per hari dan 23,28 kg/m2. Hasil uji statistik menunjukkan ada hubungan jumlah asupan karbohidrat dengan kadar glukosa darah dengan nilai p-value 0,000 dan r=0,343 dan tidak ada hubungan status gizi dengan kadar glukosa darah dengan nilai p-value 0,146. Kesimpulan Terdapat hubungan yang signifikan antara jumlah asupan karbohidrat dan kadar glukosa darah, tidak ada hubungan antara status gizi dengan kadar glukosa darah. Diharapkan penderita DM untuk menjaga asupan makanan, menjaga status gizi dalam batas normal dan mengontrol kadar glukosa. RISKESDAS showed prevalence of DM increasing in Indonesia from 1,1% in 2007 to 1,5% in 2013. Prevalence of DM in Sumatera Barat was 3,1%. To know association between carbohydrate intake and nutritional status with blood glucose levels of diabetes mellitus patient in polyclinic internal medicine Dr. M. Djamil Padang hospital 2016. Method The research analitical with design was crossectional. Sample taken by purposive sampling method with the total samples many as 113 people. The data was collected public data, anthropometry data collation, laboratory data and carbohydrate intake data. The statistical analysis was done by correlate. Result The result of the research showed average of blood glucose level, carbohydrate intake and nutritional status was 178,24 mg/dl, 273,75 gr and 23,28 kg/m2. The result of statistic analysis showed that associated between carbohydrate intake with blood glucose levels with p-value 0,000 (<0,05) and r=0,343. There was no association between nutritional status with blood glucose intake with p-value 0,146 (>0,05). Conclusion Carbohydrate intake was positively associated with blood glucose levels, and there was no association between nutritional status with blood glucose levels. DM patient was expected to maintaining food intake, nutritional status within normal limits and controls blood glucose levels.
