Abstract

Physical, physicologis and social was changes in adolescent. The hormonal changes on puberty and they may show an interest in members of the opposite sex. Lack of knowledge about reproduction health and parents control can make adolescent have risky sexual behavior. Furthermore, many factors that can related sexual behavior in adolescent. Padang city is on rank 3rd after Payakumbuh and Bukit Tinggi who have most adolescent with risky sexual behavior in West Sumatera. The purpose of this research is to see what is the factors that can related to adolescent sexual behavior in Padang. Type of this research is descriptive analytic with cross sectional study. Total sample in this research is 158 respondents which are taken by multistage random sampling. Data analysis was done by chi-square test with significance level is 95%. The result of analysis shows respondents who have risky sexual behavior (20,9%), males (38,6%), enter the stage puberty in <11 years old (6,3%), have a lack of knowledge (1,9%), get high exposure with sexual resources (19,6%) and have negative attitude (34,8%). Variables that have p<0,05 are gender, exposure with sexual resource and attitude toward sexual behavior. It can be concluded that adolescent sexual behavior in Padang City be affected by males, high exposure with internet and negative attitude toward sexual behavior. After do the research, we can see that adolescent sexual behavior in Padang is high. Because of that, It is expected that the school can collaborate with National Family Planning Coordinating Board to run the adolescent reproduction health programs.
