Abstract

This research aims to identify the case of Indonesia board diversity and it's impact on firm performance. This research used two variables, namely dependent variable and independent variable. The dependent variable is firm performance that measured by using ROA and ROE ratio. In the other hand, the independent variable used is board diversity that measured by the proportion of independent commisioners, board size and presence of woman on management board. This reasearch takes the population of manufacturing company in food and beverage sector listed in Indonesia Stock Exchange during the period 2010-2013. By using purposive sampling method, there are 16 company that appropiate with the sample criteria in this research. Moreover the writer also used logistic regression and SPSS 17 to test all hypotheses in this reseach. the result of this reseach proved that case of board diversity in Indonesia has no impact on firm performance.
