Abstract

Global warming caused by increasing carbon dioxide emissions in the world is an environmental issue that affects companies. The company as one of the contributors to increasing carbon emissions is under pressure from various parties to care about the environment. This makes the company begin to pay attention to various environmental aspects that affect firm value. This study aims to determine the effect of Carbon Emission Disclosure, environmental performance, ISO 14001, and environmental cost on firm value. This research uses the associative quantitative method. The sample of this research is 10 basic and chemical industry sector companies selected through the purposive sampling method. This research uses the panel data regression analysis method. In addition, research data processing was carried out using STATA 14 for windows. The results showed that Carbon Emission Disclosure and environmental performance had a positive and significant effect on firm value, while ISO 14001 and environmental cost had a positive and insignificant effect on firm value.
