Abstract

The purpose of this study was examine the Effect of Firm Size, Solvency, Audit Opinion and Profitability on Audit Delay in the Consumer Goods Industry Sector Listed on the Indonesia Stock Exchange in 2015-2019. The independent variables in this study are firm size, solvency, audit opinion and profitability, while the dependent variable is audit delay. This study uses 24 consumer goods industrial sector companies listed on the Indonesia Stock Exchange for the 2015-2019 period. This study uses purposive sampling as a sampling technique, hypothesis testing using multiple linear regression analysis model to test the effect of firm size, solvency, audit opinion and profitability. The results of this study indicate that partially solvency has a positive and significant effect on audit delay. Meanwhile, company size, audit opinion and profitability partially have a negative and significant effect on audit delay. Keywords: Firm size, solvency, audit opinion, profitability and audit delay
