Abstract

This study aimed to determine how the parking management system in the private and the local government in Padang. And the researcher also compare which one is good and bad. In addition, this study also discusses why is Padang as research object for a parking spot in terms of both management and tax. This study belongs to the type of quantitative descriptive method. Namely deecriptive method is a method of research that aims to create a picture of the situation or event, whereas quantitative analysis is an analytical method to perform calculations on data that is evidence of problem. The result obtained of this study among others, the management of private parking at the better than local government in terms of planning, organization, drive and supervision. It could be summarized parking taxes is very effective each year and also efficient of parking fees each year.
