Abstract
This study aims to determine the literacy level of zakat in the people of the city of Padang. This study was conducted using the Zakat Literacy Index method developed by PUSKAS BAZNAS in 2019. Data was collected through a questionnaire. The results of this study indicate that the literacy level of the Padang city community regarding zakat is in the moderate category with a score of 71.25. This finding implies that the understanding of the Padang city community about zakat is included is categorized as good.
