Abstract

The high number of vehicles currently, make goverments more enthusiastic in improving the state revenues, especially of motor vehicles tax. This research aims to know how large the contibution of motor vehicle tax on income original area through a performance is given by Samsat. This research is done with the approach of descriptive qualitative and quantitative, the primary data obtained from the spread of a quesioner and secondary data derived from the raw data the ready available in Dispenda Jambi office. From the research, known that the performance of Samsat are already good, so can be seen in the last five years, the average contribution of motor vehicle tax on income original area is 27,30%.
