Abstract

Nama : Dwi Damayanti Jonathan, S.Kep No. Bp : 2041312100 STUDI KASUS : KESIAPAN KADER LANSIA DALAM MELAKSANAKAN PERAN MITIGASI BENCANA DI RW 09 KELURAHAN PASIE NAN TIGO ABSTRAK Wilayah Indonesia merupakan daerah yang rentan terhadap risiko bencana. Salah satunya daerah Provinsi Sumatera Barat, dimana merupakan daerah yang sangat rawan terjadinya bencana. Sehingga perlunya pengurangan resiko dari potensi bencana yang akan terjadi. Salah satunya dengan melakukan mitigasi bencana, sehingga dengan dilakukan mitigasi bencana dapat mengurangi resiko yang akan terjadi. Kader sebagai bagian dari masyarakat, kader menjadi garda terdepan dalam mengurangi resiko bencana. Terutama untuk mengurangi dampak yang akan ditimbulkan kepada kelompok beresiko yaitu kelompok rentan lansia. Karena lansia kelompok beresiko sehingga perlunya pembekalan yang harus didapatkan oleh lansia apa yang harus dilakukannya ketika bencana terjadi sehingga dampak yang dapat terjadi pada lansia dapat berkurang. Tujuan penelitian ini mengeksplorasi kesiapan kader lansia dalam melaksanakan peran terkait mitigasi bencana di RW 09 Kelurahan Paise Nan Tigo. Penelitian ini merupakan penelitian kualitatif dengan pendekatan deskriptif. Partisipan berjumlah tiga orang dalam proses wawancara. Hasil wawancara ditranskip secara verbatim dan diolah ini menghasilkan 4 tema utama yaitu, (1) pengetahuan kader; (2) peran kader; (3) persiapan kader; (4) kesiapan kader dalam memberikan penyuluhan mitigasi bencana kepada lansia. Diharapkan kepada pihak pemerintahan untuk mendukung serta memberikan fasilitas kepada kader untuk menjalankan program dan memberikan edukasi kepada masyarakat terutama kelompok beresiko yaitu pada lansia. One of them is the area of West Sumatra Province, which is an area that is very prone to disasters. So it is necessary to reduce the risk of potential disasters that will occur. One of them is by doing disaster mitigation, so that by doing disaster mitigation can reduce the risk that will occur. One of them as part of the community, cadres are at the forefront of reducing disaster risk. Especially to reduce the impact that will be caused to at-risk groups, one of which is the elderly. Because the elderly are at risk, so the need for debriefing that must be obtained by the elderly what to do when a disaster occurs so that the impact that can occur on the elderly can be reduced. The purpose of this study was to explore the readiness of elderly cadres in carrying out roles related to disaster mitigation in RW 09 Paise Nan Tigo Village. This research is a qualitative research with a descriptive approach. Three participants were taken in the interview process. The interview results were transcribed verbatim and processed. This resulted in 4 main themes, namely, (1) knowledge of cadres; (2) the role of cadres; (3) preparation of cadres; (4) readiness of cadres in providing disaster mitigation counseling to the elderly. It is hoped that the government will support and provide facilities for cadres to run programs and provide education to the community, especially at risk groups, namely the elderly.
